Phace the Melody

A connection of noises or sounds to create something simulating. Something that gives you goosebumps, makes you cry or moves you to dance or think. Phace believes this is what makes music great. It gives life meaning, makes us happy when we are sad and brings us closer to God.

Chopping up the drums of a break beat from a 90s Kool G Rap record, layering a stock 808 from his Roland MV and then adding some synth 9th chords to taste is one of the many ways Phace tries to move you. This example may have been for an R&B record that he hummed the hook to on his way to back to Brooklyn on the subway.
